Meet your Coach

Hi! I'm Megan Jane, MJ for short


I'm a certified Personal Trainer, Advanced Nutrition Coach & Mindset Coach specialising in building a healthy relationship with food to fuel your workouts and unlock your most powerful self.


I spent my late teens and early twenties struggling with weight gain and disordered eating. I started gaining weight from the age of 18 when I'd stopped playing sport, was drinking on weekends, eating junk food hungover and going to drive thru for lunch now that I could drive.

I'd never had to worry about my weight until this point so I hadn't noticed. Until my mum pointed it out to me one day commenting that my thighs had gotten bigger. That was bad enough until my then boyfriend poked my belly while I was climbing over him (before.. you know..) and said, 'what's this?' to my bellyfat.


I was absolutely mortified and that's when my panicked weightloss attempts began.


I'd never had to intentionally lose weight so I knew nothing about eating or exercise for weightloss, other than eat las lower cals as I could and do as much exercise as I could to burn the most cals possible.


But I'm a type A girlie - I like to feel in control and see consistent results from my efforts. I like to push myself and the feeling of knowing I'm giving my all.


This made my dieting and exercise turn into:

  • Disordered eating (heavy calorie restriction, bingeing and purging)
  • Orthorexia (obsession with exercise purely to burn calories)


I still vividly remember the nights crying in front of the mirror because I hated how I felt in my body. The anxiety and frustration around food. The cravings and binges that left me feeling sick and riddled with guilt. And especially how I hated clothes shopping, trying on clothes and seeing myself in the change-room mirrors.


On top of all this I was lethargic, anxious, lost my period for 2 whole years, lost my fiancé and am still allergic to perfume. My unhealthy relationship with my body made me unwell and stole years from my life feeling miserable and unhappy because I was doing all the wrong things. But I didn't know any better.


One day I got so fed up and desperate to have the health, fitness and confidence I'd always wanted that I hired a fitness coach who looked how I wanted to only she was thriving! I knew she knew how to help me.

She taught me how to eat to properly fuel my body and how to exercise the right way to create the fit, lean, strong body I'd always dreamt of. I was eating so much (and so many carbs!) and losing weight, I'd never been fitter, healthier or happier!


Once I'd learned to be in healthy control of my fitness and health, this healed a large part of my disordered eating but I was still struggling with tendencies of wanting to restrict and binge and push harder and harder in my workouts - habits that were still consuming me and taking away from my happiness in general.


I needed to create a healthy balance where I was in my best shape without any extreme habits or mindsets - a lifestyle I could enjoy.


That's when I began working on my mindset and learning more and more about the deep psychology behind our thoughts, beliefs and habits that affect our health and happiness. Over time I was able to completely reinvent my relationship with myself, food & exercise and create a lifestyle where I am the best, fittest version of myself I can be while also being the happiest in myself, my life and my body.


And now it's my mission to help you do the same and avoid wasting years of your precious life feeling unhealthy and unhappy in your body!

  • Is Ultimé available globally?

    Absolutely! Wherever you are in the world, Ultimé has got you covered! You can choose to have your measuements set to imperial (lbs, inches, etc.) or metric (grams, metres, etc.) Location won't hold you back!

  • What's the duration of the program?

    Our program length is 12 weeks to begin with. This ensures you have enough time to see the results you want and also gain the understanding of how to maintain by yourself for life.


    However, I'll never leave you, if you're not ready to go it alone yet, my girl!

    Once we reach your 12 week mark, your program can continue on month to month until you feel ready to continue on your own.

    RUNstoppable is an 8 week program for which you'll have 10 weeks access.

  • I've always struggled for time - will this work for me?

    I feel you, my goal getter! You're a high acheiving woman just like me so you can rest assured, your meals and workouts are highly time efficient, designed for us busy ladies with tight schedules so we can smash our goals both in fitness and in life!

  • Are the meals family friendly?

    They sure are! All your meals use regular, everyday delicious foods with recipes that both you and your family can enjoy - no boring chicken, rice & broccoli around here! 

  • Will I have to eat the same foods every day?

    Not if you don't want to, babe! Each week you'll get a brand new meal plan based on your progress with the option to choose up to 7 different days of meal plans each week! You can follow as many of those days as you like.

  • How often will my workouts update?

    You'll never get bored or plateau with your personalised workouts! Every 4 weeks you'll get a new program based on your progress. 4 weeks gives you enough time to get stronger with those exercises and then we cahnge it up to avoid those plateaus or boredom. Nothing but fast, effective results around here, cause we know that's how you like it!

  • Do I have to have a gym membership?

    Not if you don't want to, babe. You can choose from our highly effefctive home or gym workout programs to suits your lifestyle.

  • Do I have to workout every day of the week?

    Not at all babe! You can choose from our effective 3 or 6 day workout programs to suit your busy schedule and get amazing results.

  • I see you training for a Triathlon, I'm not, will my training program still be right for me?

    Absolutely, babe! We are all about becoming the best version of ourselves regardless of what our fitness goals are. 

    While I am training to compete in triathlons, I still use my Ultimé with MJ workout programs that are customised to my goals.

    Your workout program will be perfectly tailored to your personal goals as well because we are all different in where we are at and what we are working to acheive.
